Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog, you will have come from Erika's Blog .......  blog and I hope you are enjoyed her project and all the inspiration.

My offering is an easel card made using the scallop circle and circle dies.  The sentiments are from Remembering  your birthday, the leaves from Summer Silhouettes and the flower from Flower Shop.

I used a palate of crumb cake, very vanilla, pear pizzazz, perfect plum and blushing bride.

The stamping for the leaves was 2nd generation to give a softer effect, the flowers were made by stamping with versamark onto vellum and using white embossing powder. Once heated they were coloured on the back using ink and a blender pen, again this gave the softer effect.

Giggle Greetings

Needed to make a cat mad friend a get well card, so knew this stamp set would be perfect although needed to just use the pussy cat image.  I used one in the new in colours for this year Baked Brown Sugar ink along with the co-ordinating paper stack.  Gorgeous Grunge gave me the subtle background and the sentiment is from Hopeful  Thoughts.

Horse Frontier

I needed to make a birthday card for my horse mad daughter, so I knew exactly which stamp set I needed.  Using the polka dot embossing folder to give texture to the background stamped with the horse shoe and the oval framelets to cut-out the horse topper.  The chocolate chip theme gave a perfect backdrop with papers and ribbon to match (Stampin Up are so good at that lol).
