More Weddings .....

Another wedding card request, this one is A5 in size and is ideal for using the lovely large stamp of Bella Toile (retiring soon, so sad beautiful stamp), its stamped in Versamark and I used gold embossing powder, the stamping up gold is a nice bright colour compared to some others I've used. I've left a gap at the bottom of the panel and stamped and embossed one of the greetings from the Heard from the Heart set. I mounted the panel onto some gold card and wrapped around some gold cord ( still can't believe this is retiring!!!) and attached to the front of my card.

Using the I hearts set I stamped and embossed the large dotty heart and the small love heart. I also punched out 2 hearts from the gold card and embossed one with the dots embossing folder.

I stamped and embossed two labels from the Tiny Tags set along with a mr & mrs inside one of the tags and punched out, putting a hole in the top of both and attaching some of the linen thread. I attached the hearts with dimensionals and layered some up.

This card was a robust design as it had to travel around to be signed at work.

Grab those retiring items quick as the stocks and the month of Sept are disappearing fast. Please contact me if you wish to place a last minute order.

Thanks

Save the Date.........

On 2 counts:

1) The photo is of the Save a Date invites made for my friend Helen's wedding in December. I used the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder to decorate the outside and the Top Note Bigz die to cut out the middle section. The mechanism works so you don't have to untie the gold cord (that's retiring!! :-( ). The Save the Date greeting comes from the Wedding Sweet set. All the info was printed onto ivory card and attached to the Top Note Die cut.

2) Save the Date - Thursday 20th Oct in the Community Room, Marldon Village Hall 7pm - New Catalogue Launch Workshop. RSVP to reserve your place :-)

Birthday Wishes

I made this birthday card for a friend, it uses the Flower Accent stamp to create flowers by rock and roll stamping two co-ordinating colours and then cutting out. Cover the flower with Crystal Effects then add glitter and gems. Set aside to dry. Matt and layer the Springtime Vintage DSP and Rose Red Card and adhere to a square card base. Cut a circle die using the Scallop Circle die and punch a hole in each scallop using the handheld circle punch. Attach to card.

Attach the flowers with leaves cut using the Little Leaves Sizzlit die to the card using dimensionals. Stamp sentiment ( This one is from Sincere Salutations) and punch out using an oval punch and daub around the edge with ink and attach with dimensionals.

Tie a bow with the seam binding ribbon and attach with a mini glue dot.

Some of the items used in making this card are on the Retiring list in preparation for the new catalogue in October, so you only have this month to grab them!!
