Craft Groups back on.......

Here's a card we made last night.  We used crumb cake, pool party, soft suede and white.  We brayed pool party ink onto the Brocade embossing folder, this technique can be used in 2 ways to get either the background covered or the detail.

The flowers are taken from the Blooming Marvelous stamp set which is one of the freebies available during Sale-a-bration.

Hi, heres an example of 2 decorated chocs, they are small galaxy size - one is a rudolph, made using punches and the other a snowflake using the big shot dies

Stampin Up Christmas Sparkle

Here's a card we made at a recent workshop using the Northern Flurry Embossing folder, colours are Night of Navy, Pool Party and Whisper White, a few rhinestones, the greeting comes from Greetings of the season. Resulting in a simple but stunning card very easy to replicate to send all those christmas cards.

New Autumn Winter Catalogue

I hosted a workshop recently using products from the New Autumn/Winter catalogue.

This is the first project I made, a christmas card using the Holiday Frame embossing folder and one of the new stamp sets : Joyous Celebrations.  The combination of Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla is a real christmas winner.

The second project is a cute (depending if you like spiders!!) 2,4,6,8 bag big enough to put a few treats in for halloween.  It features the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Googly Ghouls Stamp Set and the Googlies (wobbly eyes).  I used Black and Tangerine Tango colours with this.

Come and join the fun!!!

Last thursday saw my Christmas make & take night.  14 ladies each making 6 cards, having a cup of tea and a piece of cake!!  All good fun.  They all managed to finish their cards ( with maybe a bit of assembly at home)

These are 2 of the cards we made:

Penguin, this used Polar Party a cute stamp set , teamed with the pennant parade die  and the Jolly Jingles wheel.  The colour used was Pool Party  in card and accessories.  It also featured the new glitter glue and illuminate ink

Dasher, this used the lovely retiring Dasher stamp :-(  and patterned DSP , along with the score board.  the flower was made by punching out different flowers and stamping them with french foliage stamps to give some depth and layering together with a brad.

Watch out for details of the next christmas event coming soon!

Its retiring time here at Stampin Up - with lots of products from the current catalogue retiring to make way for the brand new annual catalogue on 1st October.  If you'd like a copy of the list please let me know...
