Hi ya, and a warm welcome to my blog. If you're following the ILWS blog hop then you will have come from the lovely Beckie http://www.bextiesandstickytape.blogspot.com/ , and here is my project;
I felt that the flower stamp in the Marry Me set had an art deco style to it, which gave the inspiration for the card. I coloured the stamp in with markers and used to decorate the white panel using first and second generation stamping to give dimension. The black background was stamped with versamark using the tops of the flowers and embossed with clear powder and I daubed around the white panel with rich razzleberry ink to soften the edges. I used a torn strip (still find it so hard to tear such lovely new paper!!) to accent the side of the card.
